AND WHO I,MI

AND WHO I,MI

How nice that you are reading my very first blogpost. I have doubted for a long time whether I should write a blog but as you can see I decided to just do it!

And who am I... my name is Patricia and at the time of writing I am 46 years old, I have 3 children, 1 daughter of 21 years old, 1 daughter of 16 years old and a son of 9 years old. And I live together in the beautiful Drenthe.

Mavazi fashion originated from a childhood dream, I used to dream of becoming a fashion designer, but I couldn't draw and that's why it remained a dream, nowadays we have computers and AI so it's all a lot easier. After a failed dream I still had a passion and that was care, I worked in it for more than 18 years as a caregiver c .. Unfortunately I had to stop this due to physical complaints Double hernia and congenital scoliosis and it was no longer possible to combine it with the home situation!

And then I see you thinking why? Well, also a subject I don't talk about that often. My youngest son of 9 years old was diagnosed with a severe form of autism and a mental disability more than 1.5 years after his birth. At the moment he is 9 years old but mentally he functions at an age of 8 months to 2 years old... and he is non-verbal. And since we don't have such a big network around us, it is very difficult to find a babysitter, so I stayed home for that reason too.

After years of just being a housewife, girlfriend, cleaner, taxi driver (wink), I wanted to do something again, something where I could also have something for myself outside of all the daily things. And there came my itch for the fashion industry again. In 2009 I also had my own webshop via the hyves platform and that was my passion at that time next to my job in healthcare. This was in children's clothing and was called Happykids children's clothing.

So save because to start a webshop you need money of course a lot of money!!! In total I saved for 1 year and then registered with the Chamber of Commerce and there was Mavazi fashion and now the webshop has been running for 1 year..

I really enjoy working with Mavazi Fashion, in addition to the household, being a mother and a friend, this gives me a wonderful meaning in my life because even though I never say it out loud, it is sometimes quite hard with a child with a disability, and working from home gives me the freedom to participate in working life again... because even if he is sick or has time off, the webshop from home can always continue to run and there is no higher hand that makes me feel bad if I can't come again because there is no one to look after my son!

So through this blog I would also like to thank all customers who have ordered in the webshop because without you there would of course be no webshop and I am very grateful for your trust!

Love Patricia
